Inventory Control Specialist

  • Monitor purchase orders and transfer loads to ensure timely and accurate updating
  • Process all customer orders to invoicing, verifying quantity and lot numbers are accurate
  • Convert customer orders, fix miss-lots and shortages/overages for customer invoices
  • Research and resolve variances with inventory orders
  • Generate open order reports at month end closing to ensure all sales are captured in correct month/period


  • Upload customer order bills of ladings to server
  • Retain archived warehouse receipts for all inventory orders
  • Manage registers for sales orders, purchase orders and transfers
  • Maintenance of month end inventory reports for various warehouses


  • Generate bi-weekly inventory reports
  • Collaborate with multiple internal departments and warehouses to address damages that may occur while product is in transit or upon receiving
  • Act as liaison between warehouse personnel and Superior's Business Manager team regarding arrival and handling of sample orders
  • Interacts with internal/external customers daily through clear and concise communications
  • Assists with month end inventory reconciliation reports
  • Resolves warehouse billing variances

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in International Business or Agribusiness and 2-3 years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be organized and work well and accurately with numbers.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Must be able to make sound independent decisions based on available data.
