HR Management

• Advise and guide management in effective development, interpretation and application of policies, programs, processes, and compliance

• Support management of the employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding

• Manage all health and welfare benefits programs including enrollments, terminations, and auditing of premiums prior to payment

• Maintain records of HR data including turnover, attendance, performance development, training

• Supervise, coach, mentor and develop assigned administrative support staff

Recruitment/Retention/Performance Management

• Manage full recruitment process for open and future job requisitions (post, source, prescreen, schedule interviews, reference checks, offers, onboarding)

• Collaborate with management staff to identify KPIs for talent management process and assess market competitiveness

• Participate in career or job fairs to build talent pool

• Participate in design and improvement of our performance appraisal and career development process to foster a high-performance culture

• Identify coaching or training needs and collaborate with management to develop programs that focus on goal achievement

• Develop and maintain effective programs for retention, career-development and succession planning

Compensation & Benefits

• Manage all benefits programs to ensure best mix of cost-effective total rewards to meet the organization's budget and to foster a culture to attract and retain top talent

• Manage all payroll & attendance responsibilities, ensuring payroll is processed on time, accurately and in compliance with government regulations and best practices

• Research, analyze and recommend competitive compensation, benefits, performance management and employee incentive programs to attract and retain top talent

• Administer the 401(k)-retirement plan through Paychex Retirement Services

Executive Support

• Administrative support to Managing Director and Executive Team

• Maintain records/minutes for monthly meetings; send follow ups after each meeting

• Plan, schedule and coordinate setup of meetings and agendas for monthly Executive meetings and BOD meetings as needed

• Responsible for regular internal corporate communications ensuring messaging is in line with management expectations


Bachelor's degree or equivalent HR Management experience (minimum 8 years); PHR-CA or SPHR-CA certification preferred

• Excellent communications

• Strong leadership skills

• Excellent interpersonal, counseling and negotiating abilities

• Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices

• Time-management with proven ability to meet deadlines

• Proficient with payroll and/or HRIS software

• Experience administering 401(k) plans

• Strong analytical & project management skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitive information
