The Staff Accountant, reports to the Director of Accounting and is responsible for maintaining general ledger accounts by applying principles of accounting in analyzing financial information, handling cash reconciliations and assisting with period close.

SUMMARY: As the AR Specialist you will be responsible for all accounts receivable functions to ensure accurate recording and reporting of customers’ checks and collections of Accounts Receivable portfolio. The Import Logistics Coordinator is a detailed oriented self-motivated team player able to work across department lines, providing best in class service to our internal and external customer base. The Import Logistics Coordinator will work independently within broad guidelines, function effectively under constant time constraints and have the ability to work on a number of initiatives at once.

The position will monitor and coordinate daily activity of imported ocean containers into their assigned port(s), troubleshoot problem shipments, formulate solutions and notify appropriate stakeholders. This includes managing relationships with drayage companies to avoid demurrage fees, and recommending processes and concepts to improve efficiencies, cost savings and profitability.

Additionally, the position will coordinate domestic shipments with truck carriers throughout the country, to ensure product is picked up and delivered in a timely manner. Follow up on status of loads once scheduled and update internal sales, and purchasing groups of any issues that may affect the customer requirements. The position is responsible for gathering relevant shipping and receiving information from the various carriers and warehouses, as well as the accuracy of completeness of this information entered into the system.

Machine Operator 2nd Shift

The Machine Operator will be responsible for the operation all the plant/facility blending, film and corrugated packaging, and seasoning equipment including the setup, adjustment, and basic preventive maintenance as well as for the quality and quantity of work produced by assigned equipment. Also, actively leads quality by good work habits, proactive participation in machine operation and efficiency enhancements, and in quality food safety programs.
